Vocabulary: astrology and horoscopes... - English lesson
Astrology often looks irrational, belonging to beliefs or superstition rather than to Science. Famous people and politician resort to astologists ; Plain Jane and Joe Bloggs study their horoscopes every morning or before any event of major importance. The stars and their position are speaking... the ligns of our hands are shouting... the crystal ball is lighting up.... and cards are howling... Therefore, we can't ignore them...
Obviously, you should feel free to accept the phenomenon, or reject it. Yet, you might as well know the different terms to talk about it...
