    Simple future tense

We can form the simple future tense with will (and shall that is not much used any longer except for invitations).

    Affirmative form:

Subject + will + verb (infinitive).

The subjects like I, you, she, he, we,you, they, etc.

In speaking English it is common to use contraction.

    I will = I'll, You will = You'll, He will = He'll, She will= She'll (singular).

    We will = we'll, You will = you'll, They will = They'll (plural).

    Negative form:

Subject + will not (won't) + verb (infinitive).

    Interrogative form:

    Will + subject + verb (infinitive) + ?

This form is usually named Yes/No question, because the answer begins with Yes or No.

    Wh-questions

Who, What, When, Where, Why, How.

    Wh-question + will + subject + verb (infinitive) + ?

    Exercise: Choose the right options.
