    Brief reminder of Part 1 (without mistake ) :
    The Invalides, one of the most beautiful monuments of Paris. It was commissioned by the ' Sun King ' to the architect Bruand for the invalids of war.

    --------- Designed to be fonctional, the Hôtel des Invalides consists of baracks, a hospice, a couvent, a hospital and a factory. The Invalides is a real city regulated by a system that is both military and religious.
    Build at the end of the 17th century by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the Dome church has house the tombe of Napoleon I since the second half of the 19th century, in a crypte designed especialy for this purpose.

    Today assigned to the Ministry of Defence, the Hôtel National des Invalides still retain its primary function as a hospital-hospice for the severely disabled or war-wounded.

    It is also the place where most national tributes are hold.
