Advice:If I were you + two word verbs

The structure "If I were you, I would ..." is used to give advice or make a suggestion.

The verb after 'would' is in the infinitive without 'to'.

In spoken English we often say 'I'd' instead of 'I would'.

    Example

    - My rent is so high.

    - If I were you, I'd save up to buy a house.

    TEST

The test below gives situations ( written between brackets.) Say what you would advise a person in these situations.
