    Had better or should

    Had better

If you don't do something which you had better do, then there might be negative consequences.

    Example:
You had better not watch that film. It's so full of cruelty and violence that you might get nightmares from it.

    Should

Should is often used to give some advice. But if you don't follow that advice, nothing really bad happens.

    Example:
You should watch that film. It's really entertaining.

In the following test, fill in the gaps with either "had better" or "should".
