    By? By the time? Until?

For Learners, prepositions and particles (adverbs) are not very easy to use properly!
Today we're going to study three of them because they are often problematic.

    1) The preposition BY is used before a limit (The action is situated BEFORE

that date, or ON THAT DATE at the latest: a deadline)

    - The room must be painted by Sunday morning.

    - By 7 o'clock the little boy was ready to leave for school.

    2) In front of a VERB,use the expression  BY THE TIME ( that )  before a precise moment ending an action.

    - By the time she finished her speech, everybody was asleep.

     3) UNTIL:  a continuous action is taking place up to a certain time

    - The shop is open till 9. (it closes at 9!)

    - Stay inside till/ until it stops raining.

Three very little things to remember... That's all!  You're ready for the test!

    Go with THE FORCE!
