We use "must" to say something is very important or necessary.
Positive form:
Subject + must + verb (base form)
You must study.
It is important to study.
She must wear a uniform.
It is necessary for her to wear a uniform.
We must be on time.
Being on time is important.
HOW TO USE:
You give strong advice
You talk about rules
You say something is very important
➡️ MUSTN'T = You are not allowed / It's forbidden
We use "mustn't" to say something is not allowed or dangerous.
Subject + mustn't + verb (base form)
You mustn't run in the corridor.
It's not safe. It's not allowed.
He mustn't smoke here.
Smoking is forbidden.
We mustn't forget our homework.
It's important to remember it.
