🔹 PART 1: How to ask "How are you?"
There are many ways to ask someone how they are in English. Some are more polite, others more casual.
How are you? The most common, polite
How are you doing? A bit more relaxed
Are you okay? When you're a bit worried
Everything okay? Very informal
You good? Very casual

"How are you?" is polite and can be used with anyone.
📢 Simple pronunciation:
"How are you?" → /haʊ ɑː juː/
"You good?" → /juː ɡʊd/
🔸 PART 2: How to answer - Say how you are
Here are several answers depending on your mood.
😃 If you're feeling good:
I'm good. I'm fine / I'm well
I'm fine, thanks. I'm okay, thank you
I'm great! I feel amazing!
I'm fantastic! I feel really great!
Never better! I've never felt this good!
🙂 If you're feeling "okay":
I'm okay. I'm doing alright.
I'm alright. I'm fine
I'm so-so. Not great, not bad
I'm not bad. Pretty good
😐 If you're not feeling great:
I'm tired. I feel sleepy / no energy
I'm sick. I'm ill
I'm a bit stressed. I'm under pressure
I'm sad. I feel unhappy
Not great. Things are not going well
🔁 PART 3: How to ask back - "And you?"
It's very common to ask the other person how they are:
And you?
What about you?
How about you?
💬 Example:
- I'm fine, thanks! And you?
