English lesson: Musical notes
1. Introduction:
Music is made of sounds called notes. In English, these notes have specific names. Knowing these names helps you talk about music, sing, or play an instrument.
2. The seven musical notes:
There are seven main musical notes. Their names in English are:

G |
In English, notes are named by letters from A to G, then the sequence repeats.
3. How to pronounce the notes:
Here is how to pronounce each note in English:
A is pronounced like "ay" in day (without the “d”).
B sounds like bee, the insect.
C sounds like see (to look).
D sounds like dee.
E sounds like the long “ee” in see.
F is pronounced like the letter F.
G sounds like gee, with a “j” sound at the start.
4. Using the notes in English:Talking about notes
You can say sentences like:
“I play the note C.”
“The note B is very high.”
“Sing the note F, please.”
Notes can be high (a high pitch) or low (a low pitch).
Example: “The note G is high.”
On a piano or guitar, notes are played in this order: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, then it starts again at A.

Try saying or writing these sentences in English:

“I like to play the note F.”
“The song starts with the note D.”
“Can you sing the note A?”
“The note B is low.”

Practice matching the English note letters to names (without using any other language). Try to say the letter for these notes:
The note for “La” is A.
The note for “Do” is C.
The note for “Mi” is E.
The note for “Sol” is G.
The note for “Ré” is D.
And the other way:
A is “La”
F is “Fa”
B is “Si”
