    Louis Braille (be) the son of a French leather worker, and he (go) blind at the age of three when he (fall) on a tool in his father's workshop but Louis was a brave and talented boy who (want) to be a musician, So he (learn) to play the cello and at the age of ten he (win) a scholarship to the national institute for blind children in Paris. He (can) play the cello but he (can not) read and write. In 1819 a French soldier, Charles Barbier (invent) night writing. He used patterns of twelve raised dots on paper so that soldiers (can) read in the dark. Louis Braille (understand) the importance of this invention for blind people.
