= I should sleep more. It is better for me.
Another example:
You'd better not be noisy.
= You should not be noisy. It would be better.
- It can be contracted:
I had better = I'd better
you had better = you'd better
...
- Use the infinitive without "to" to build the sentence:
He had better get up if he wants to have some milk!
They had better stop fighting!
