TEXTE:
In the Nord East of the United States, one family of immigrants wants to buy a new house...Mr Sephanides is of Greek origins and his wife too but she's more involved in the Orthodox church than he is.He works in the restaurant business. He wants to buy a traditional house in a wealthy suburb of Detroit called 'Grosse pointe'.
Mr Sephanides is becoming suspicious as the houses he has applied for are either sold or the prices have increased suddenly... He believes that the estate agents are pulling his leg.
Mrs March, a real estate agent is showing potential buyers houses for sale.Mr Sephanides is visiting an excentric house... But for him it's too boxy-looking, too modern.Mrs March tries to convince him but he is not keen on the design of the house.
Mrs March tries to know more about Milton Stephanides because she must use the point system. The point system is all the negative and positive points that she gives to the potential buyers. He has all the negative points, first he is an immigrant, then he wants to live with his folks.
She tries to get rid of Milton but now he is asking for more information on the house,he pays no attention to Ms March underestimating the house. He can afford the house because he's paying cash. He gets the upper-hand on Miss March.
