Rose Fairy
THE ROSE FAIRY
Ceci est l'œuvre de Cicely Mary Barker, extraite de son ouvrage intitulé 'The Flower Fairies'.
The rose fairy looks very young. She is a little plump, like a baby. She has a cute little nose and fair hair. It is rather short and slightly curly. It is impossible for us to see the colour of her eyes because she is looking downwards. She has got two very small light pink wings.
The rose fairy is only wearing a very short light pink dress. It is sleeveless. She is not wearing any shoes. She is bare-footed.
The rose fairy has climbed on a branch of her rose-tree. She is holding the stem of a rose with her delicate arms, as if it were a treasure. She is tenderly leaning her face on the flower.
The rose fairy is the most discreet fairy of the summer. She is very kind and pleasant. She adores dancing on her tiptoes around her flowers in the peaceful sunset. She entertains an excellent relationship with the honeybees. We can often see her showing them the way to the biggest flowers. She stays near them to protect them while they are foraging.
