Can you tell me if my sentences are correct?
"-I'm often abroad for my jobs.
and you?" said Cathy
"Not often" answered to her friend.

Bonsoir,
1) "-I'm often abroad for my jobs. (pourquoi jobs au pluriel?)
2) "and you?" said Cathy ( ok mais "What about you?" est plus littéraire )
inutile d'inverser said et Cathy
3)"Not often" answered to her friend.
qui parle à qui ?
"Pas souvent", répondit son amie = Faites comme en 2) sujet + verbe au prétérit.
"Pas souvent" Répondit-il à son amie: traduire: il + verbe au prétérit + to + his friend (son amie à lui) / her friend (son amie à elle)
