    On the pull /traduction
    Message de catherine75 posté le 11-10-2012 à 19:08:54 (S | E | F)
    Hello everybody,

Could you help me please? I have to translate this text and I cannot translate " Even I don't go out on the pull in manky old combats and a sweater that's seen better days."
    Thank you so much.
    Sincerely yours.

Text : I never set out to pinch anyone's bloke, let alone Nina's. The day it all started, picking out a bloke was the last thing on my mind. Even I don't go out on the pull in manky old combats and a sweater that's seen better days.

    on the pull
To attempt to hook up with somebody, by talking and/or moving in an 'attractive' way in front of (several) people.
"Why is she wearing a really short skirt and dancing in front of all of the single guys whilst talking in a slow, sexy voice?"
    "She's on the pull."
(that's the best example I could come up with)

    2.
    on the pull
When a person goes out on a social occasion such as to a bar or club with the intention of having some sort of sexual relation with someone.
"Why is James taking so long? He's been doing his hair for like a hour."
    "He's on the pull."

    3.
    on the pull
When you feel an extraordinary sexual desire towards someone (or just feel it and want to fulfil it)
Hey bro, I'm on the pull, let's seek some whores or something!
