    Hello,
in exercises about homophones, NŠ 101460 - sentence 9 > -...curbs and in NŠ 101544 - sentence 12 > kerb.
I looked up in a dictionary but I cannot make out the difference between curb/curbstone and kerb. Arenīt they the same?
    Iīd appreciate your help.

    Hullo

Curb is also a verb. To curb is to check or restrain
The government needs to curb spending.
