    English test 21246 /Good-well
    Message from vertaalhulp posted on 11-12-2013 at 14:23:11 (D | E | F)
    Hi,

I am an English language trainer and I have just taken the English test #21246: Good or well ?.
I believe there's a mistake in sentence no. 5: "Have you ever taken this medicine before?" It says that the answer should be "Well! I don't remember!". In my opinion here "Well" is not an adverb describing how you do something; however, it is an interjection, which usually has no grammatical relationship within a sentence. For example: it's often found at the beginning of a sentence, expressing doubt or hesitation.
    Hope this helps!
    Kind regards,
    Inge, The Netherlands

    Hello,

Well was described as an interjection in the lesson just before the exercise.
