    Bonjour
Est-ce que l'expresion "It was too much long" est correcte ?
    Non

    Traduction de trop:
too + adjectif: This lesson is too difficult.
too many + nom pluriel: I smoke too many cigarettes.
too many pronom avec nom pluriel sous-entendu: Do you smoke a lot of cigarettes ? Yes, I smoke too many, j'en fume trop.
too much + nom singulier: I eat too much bread.
too much + nom singulier sous-entendu . How much bread do you eat ? Oh, too much, I think.
too much sans rien derrière, s'applique au verbe: I work too much. I had to shoot him, he knew too much ! Il en savait trop !

Maintenant, much au sens de beaucoup / bien + adjectif ou beaucoup / bien + adverbe, peut se mettre devant "trop" ou devant un comparatif:
He is much taller and much more reactive than me.
The film was much too long.
He works much faster and much more seriously than me /than I do.
He works much too carelessly. He is much too careless.
