    "quelques travaux ont permis d'ouvrir en 1894" :
    some work permit to open in 1984

    Manchester is a city in the northwest of England of 458 100 inhabitants in 2008, the Manchurians. Some work allowed the opening in 1894 “Manchester Ship Canal”, a large channel connecting the city to the ocean.

    In 2002 the games of the Commonwealth were held successfully. The principal stadium was reconverted in football stadium.
