    English exercise/correction

    HEllo everybody
Exercise "Error identification" means that we will identify an error (A/B/C/D) in English sentences.

    A small test below:
The American soprano Mary Gardner, who had (A) one of the greatest (B) operaic voices of her era, retired at the height (C) of the (D) career.

A/B/D is right. I selected C because we say " retired at the top of the career "

How What do you think of that ?

    Hello,
The American soprano Mary Gardner, who had (A) one of the greatest (B) operaic voices of her era, retired at the height (C) of the (D) career.

    I'd say:
The American soprano Mary Gardner, who had one of the greatest operatic voices of her era, retired at the height of her career.
    .
'at the height of' is an English expression that means 'au plus fort de ', c'est à dire 'au sommet'.
    to be confirmed...
