Expression écrite - What is your idea of
    Message de kev55 posté le 30-10-2009 à 15:21:07 (S | E | F)

Bonjour, pouvez vous m'aider à corriger cette expression écrite s'il vous plaît.

What is your idea of a prestigious job?

It is generally accepted that wealth, fame and fortune help us to be accepted in our modern society.

At first, a prestigious job corresponds to a work which is respected, which asks to make some things of importance. It could be a job which gives you public recognition, or a job that is useful to your community. For examples : people who work for NGOs or scientist who look for cures for diseases because they arouse the admiration.

But, It cannot be denied that a prestigious job is often linked with money.
For many people, the idea of a prestigious job is based on the fact that there is a good salary. Furthermore, I also considere that to be business manager is a prestigious job.

We may wonder to what extent showing off is the reflection of happiness.
This issue leads us to the famous saying : money can't buy happiness.

All things considered, we may claim that a prestigious job is for me linked with a well-paid job but who arouses the admiration and give me many happiness.

    Merci d'avance à tous ceux qui m'aideront.

    Bonsoir,
Que dire à part very well-done job!
Juste 1 ou 2 petites fautes d'inattention ou de frappe:
What is your idea of a prestigious job?

It is generally accepted that wealth, fame and fortune help us to be accepted in our modern society.

At first, a prestigious job corresponds to a work which is respected, which asks to make some things of importance (tu peux préciser un peu). It could be a job which gives you public recognition, or a job that is useful to your community. For examples : people who work for NGOs or scientist who look for cures for diseases because they arouse the admiration.

But, It cannot be denied that a prestigious job is often linked with money.
For many people, the idea of a prestigious job is based on the fact that there is (mal dit) a good salary. Furthermore, I also considere (orthographe) that to be a business manager is a prestigious job.

We may wonder to what extent showing off is the reflection of happiness.
This issue leads us to the famous saying : money can't buy happiness.

All things considered, we may claim that a prestigious job is for me linked with a well-paid job but who (l'antécédent n'est pas une personne) arouses the admiration and give (3è personne du singulier) me many happiness.

Merci beaucoup laure95 pour cette correction.

What is your idea of a prestigious job?

It is generally accepted that wealth, fame and fortune help us to be accepted in our modern society.

At first, a prestigious job corresponds to a work which is respected (j'ai supprimé l'autre moitié de phrase je ne peux pas développer je suis limité à 150 mots donc j'ai préférais supprimer). It could be a job which gives you public recognition, or a job that is useful to your community. For examples : people who work for NGOs or scientist who look for cures for diseases because they arouse the admiration.

But, It cannot be denied that a prestigious job is often linked with money.
For many people, the idea of a prestigious job is based on the fact that there is (que mettre à la place) a good salary. Furthermore, I also consider that to be a business manager is a prestigious job.

We may wonder to what extent showing off is the reflection of happiness.
This issue leads us to the famous saying : money can't buy happiness.

All things considered, we may claim that a prestigious job is for me linked with a well-paid job but which arouses the admiration and gives me many happiness.
