Choix du verbe après meanwhile

Bonjour,
est-ce grammaticalement correct d'utiliser 'WILL' dans la phrase suivante :
In the meanwhile we will continue to work as usual (entre temps nous continuerons à travailler comme d'habitude (sens : comme si de rien n'était)

La phrase: In the meanwhile we will continue to work as usual. n'est pas correcte.
On dirait plutôt: In the meantime, we will continue working (to work) as usual.
OR
...meanwhile, we will continue working... (on n'utilise pas "in the")

Chrislondon est britannique, jonquille américaine.
Je donne raison à chrislondon car 'in the meanwhile' existe et il est correct de l'employer:
also in the meanwhile in the period of time between two events:
The flight will be announced soon. Meanwhile, please remain seated.
I knew I wouldn't get my exam results for several weeks, and I wasn't sure what to do in the meanwhile.

Personally I would not say "in the meanwhile", but it may be that some people do say exactly that.
I would say
"In the meantime, we will continue..."
or
"Meanwhile, we will continue" (no "in the")
