    Comparatif/correction
    Message de alphafifi posté le 13-12-2011 à 11:38:26 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour,

pouvez-vous m'aider et me corriger svp s'il vous plaît ?
    Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.

Lire les situations décrites et compléter les phrases amorcées. Utiliser un comparatif de supériorité.
    Par exemple :
Yesterday the temperature was nine degrees. Today it's only six degrees.
It's colder today than it was yesterday.

1)Dave and I went for a run. I ran ten kilometres. Dave stopped after eight kilometres.
    I ran ...
je propose I ran most kilometres than Dave
    est-ce correct?

2)The journey takes four hours by car and five hours by train.
    It takes...
je propose It takes more time at train than at car ?

3)Chris and joe both did badly in the physics exam. Chris got 20% but Joe got only 15%.
    Joe did...
je propose Joe did both less than Chris.(gros doute pour celle-là)

4)I expected my friends to arrive at about 4 o' clock. In fact they arrived at 2.30.
My friends ...(je ne vois pas )

5)You can go by bus or by train. The buses run every 30 minutes. The trains run every hour.
The buses ... (je ne vois pas)

Proposez quelque chose pour la 4 et la 5; réfléchissez au sens des phrases.

    Hello alphafifi.
    1. You chose the superlative, not the comparative.
    2. Keep the same preposition, but the comparative is OK.
    3. Bad has an irregular comparative & superlative; less is not it.
    4. xxxx
    5. xxxx
    Have a nice day! Sherry

    Hello,

1)Dave and I went for a run. I ran ten kilometres. Dave stopped after eight kilometres.
    I ran ...
je propose I ran most kilometres than Dave ....non
    est-ce correct?

2)The journey takes four hours by car and five hours by train.
    It takes...
je propose It takes more time at train than at car ? ...non

3)Chris and Joe both did badly in the physics exam. Chris got 20% but Joe got only 15%.
    Joe did...
je propose Joe did both less than Chris.(gros doute pour celle-là)...non

Pour chaque phrase trouvez l'adjectif qui exprime l'idée générale et mettez la phrase au comparatif avec cet adjectif.
    Exemple:
Paris is 20 km far from here. Marseilles is 800 km far from here =
Marseilles is farther from here than Paris.

    Hello

    Ensuite pour la 4
    Je propose
My friends arrived more earlier than I think attention au temps,la phrase est au passé. Pourquoi mettre more avec l'adjectif déjà au comparatif??

    Pour la 5
The buses are less numerous than the trains....oops c'est l'inverse
