J'étais au téléphone quand tu as appelé. Donc, comment vas-tu?
    David: Bien John, et toi?
    John: Bien, mais très occupé.
David: Je ne serai pas long. Peux-tu me donner le numéro de téléphone de Jean-Louis Michel?
    John: Pas de problème. Je l'ai ici avec moi. Jean-Louis Michel, 03 68 12 22 00.
David: Merci. Désolé de t'avoir dérangé.
John: Pas du tout. Tu es le bienvenu, David. Rappelle toi le restaurant mardi prochain!
David: Je n'oublierai pas. Au revoir, John.
    John: Au revoir.

    Et voici ma traduction:

John calls back his friend David.

John: Hi David, sorry to have kept you waiting. I was calling when you called. So, how are you?
    David: Good John, and you?
John: Good, but I'am very busy.
David: I would not be long. Can you give me the call number of Jean-Louis Michel?
John: No problem. It's here with me. Jean-Louis Michel, zero, three, sixty eight, twelves, twenty two, zero, zero.
David: Thank you. Sorry to disturb you.
John: In no way. You are welcome, David. Call back you the restaurant the next tuesday!
David: I will not forget. Bye bye John.
    John: Good bye.

    Moi je dirai:

John calls back his friend David.

John: Hi David, sorry to have kept you waiting. I was already with someone when you called me. So, how are you?
David: Fine John, how about you?
John: Good, but (I am) very busy.
David: I won't be long. Can you give me Jean Louis Michel's phone number please?
John: No problem. It's here with me. Jean-Louis Michel, zero, three, sixty eight, twelves, twenty two, zero, zero.
David: Thank you. Sorry to have bothered you.
John: Not at all. You're the welcome, David. "Don't forget about the restaurant next Tuesday!"
David: I will not forget. Bye bye John.
    John: Good bye.

    Quelque chose dans ce genre-là.
