    Bonjour,
    Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plaît?
est-ce qu'on doit mettre deux virgules en écrivant la date?
    Merci pour vos réponses.

    Hello

In "BBC" date format, you only need one:

Today is Friday, 17 February 2012.

It is only when the year follows the current date that one is needed as Gerondif said.

    Hello,

this is today's date taken from "the New York Times" front page:

Saturday, February 18, 2012 (2 commas, deux virgules)

    but the Sun says:
Sat, 18 February 2012 (which I would have considered wrong )

    Hello,

I would just like to add this for the date...
The American way which is the easy way to write is usually the best and is even used in Primary schools.
Day , Month + date, Year
Saturday, February 18th, 2012 (don't forget the (th) meaning the eighteenth day of the month of February)

However in Letters we usually learn ...
written on the top right hand side of the page under your own address
    18th February 2012 (no commas)

    Hope this helps
