    Rapport/ chômage
    Message de poleon10 posté le 26-11-2012 à 21:00:02 (S | E | F)
    Bonsoir,

    Merci d'avance.

Youth Unemployment's rates in the World - Analysis
The purpose of this report is to :
    - give an overview of youth unemployment* in some countries
    - make some remarks about particular cases
    - comment on general trends among the different countries

    Overview
    - On the whole, the youth unemployment rate has risen in every country.
    - In some countries such as Netherlands, Austria, Norway, the rate increased by only 1 or 2% between 2008 and 2011.
    - However, in other countries such as Spain, Greece and Ireland, the rate nearly doubled.

    Trends
They are three main remarks :
    - The ‘PIGS’ countries and assimilated to PIGS such as Latvia, who had an already high unemployment rate in 2008, had to endure a huge boom in unemployment during the three year time lapse.
    - Germany is the only country for which the unemployment slipped a little.
    - Euro area has on average a higher youth unemployment than the US.

    Conclusion
    - The countries with a small unemployment rate in 2008 only suffered a slight increase between 2008 and 2011.
    - The countries with an already large unemployment rate in 2008 had seen their unemployment's rate reach an all-time high.
    - In either case, youth unemployment is relatively higher than the global unemployment and should remain our society's main concern.

*youth unemployment englobes the 15-24 years old.

    Overview
    - On the whole, the youth unemployment rate has risen in every country.
    - In some countries such as the Netherlands(pays pluriel, donc the), Austria, Norway, the rate increased by only 1 or 2% between 2008 and 2011.

    - The countries with an already large unemployment rate in 2008 had(have me paraît plus logique) seen their unemployment's rate reach an all-time high.
    - In either case, youth unemployment is relatively higher than the global unemployment and should remain our society's main concern.

*youth unemployment englobes(includes, covers) the 15-24 years old.
