    Bonsoir,
    Merci beaucoup!

I remember... it was hot and crowded. It was 1963 and I was standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial, waiting for a taxi to go back home. I was 61 years old and I had just seen in front of me Martin Luther King said his famous speech “I have a dream”. I remember that he left me speechless with joyful tears all over my face. It was just incredible. I saw in his eyes the hope of a real change for our condition of black people in USA. During all my life before his speech I was terrified by the comportment of white people in front of me. They thought they were superior by the color of their skin and when I spoke to majority of them I had the impression to talk to a brick wall. And now, thanks to Martin, equality between black and white is more respected than yesterday. On the first time I've heard “I have a dream” from his lips, that gave me goose bumps, he was the change that we were looking for.
