Pouvez-vous me dire si ces phrases sont bien traduites s'il vous plaît?

- For more than 40 years the SETI astronaumers have been searching for a signal coming from a technologically-advanced society.
- My name's Laura. I've been reading science-fiction books since I was 13.
- We have been sending signals since the creation of the radio and if there are some intelligent creatures in the universe, they must have invented the radio too.
J'ai surtout un doute sur la dernière, car j'ai toujours entendu dire que must ne pouvait s'employer qu'au présent. Est-ce vrai, et si oui, comment traduire " elles ont certainement"? Peut être " they certainly have invented" serait mieux ici?

Bonsoir,
vos phrases sont correctes.
"elles ont dû inventer" sera traduit en anglais comme vous l'avez fait par "elles doivent avoir inventé": "They must have invented", c'est correct.
