    Either...or/ Neither...nor/ Not ... either.

When you have to express a choice or an alternative, 'either...or...' and 'neither...nor' are usually employed to do so...

    1) EITHER + nom  = one or the other / NEITHER + nom = not one and not the other...  The noun doesn't have to be mentioned.

ex : Lucy, which glass do you want, the glass of wine or that of fruit juice? In fact, neither glass suits me. I'd just like some water...

    2) Either OF / Neither OF + pronoun or determiner.

ex : Annie, look at the toys! You can have either of them... (You can have one toy, or the other one! )

ex : Neither of my parents could come to fetch him...( = my Dad couldn't come and my Mum couldn't come either... )

    3) EITHER / NEITHER + Clause / (proposition) subject + verb

ex : Well, well! Either I'm making a mistake, or you're trying to open my car...

    4) Combined with 'not' :  NOT ... EITHER = FORME NEGATIVE:

ex : He hates fish and he doesn't like meat either !

Well well! You must now be ready for the test !  Go for it !
