    Else and compounds

An adjective or an adverb, this little word has something "magical"! It's very easy to use

and it modifies the meaning ot the words it is attached to.

Let's see how helpful it can be!

ELSE: in a different or additional manner or place.

    1) ELSE is used after the compound forms of SOME, ANY, NO.

     Somebody/ someone else
     Anybody/ anyone else
     Nobody/ no one else

     Something else
     Anything else
     Nothing else

     Somewhere else
     Anywhere else
     Nowhere else

    2) ELSE is used after WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY, HOW and (not) MUCH:

    - WHO ELSE?

    - WHAT ELSE?

    - WHERE ELSE?

    - WHY ELSE?

    - Who else will come with us?

    - Where else can my keys be?

    3)   IMPORTANT !  ELSE can be used in the possessive case (whether mentioned or implicit).

    - These keys aren't mine! They must be somebody else's.

    4) OR ELSE: (OTHERWISE) the hint of a threat is possible.

    - Hurry up, or else you'll miss your place.

So easy to use...  The following test will show you that you are sure to pass with flying colours!

Go for it! and thanks for your work!
